Web design history

My name is Nicole, I'm 21 years of age and live in Adelaide, South Australia. Web design has been an interest of mine for approximately 8 years now. From running my own fansites and forums over the years, I have discovered that it is a field I wish to develop in. Over the past few years I have done some freelance work, including the design for Copper Cove Holiday Villas.

Ever since I began designing websites, I have always wanted a person domain where I can host all of my work. Place-To-Crash.Org was created in late 2006. The purpose of the site is to showcase the works that I have completed in my own spare time or at University. I have a growing collection of various forms of artwork ranging from drawings and magazine design to film production and web design.

The boring stuff

I was born in a country town in South Australia on the 10th of June 1988. Always having an interest in art and design, I decided to enrol in a Bachelor of Media Arts in 2007 at the University of South Australia. There, I am majoring in Interactive Multimedia, and submajoring in Web Developement.

So far the course has been great. I've had the opportunity to create my own film productions, websites, brochures and newsletters. As I'm not completely certain what job field I want to get into, these different types of classes are helping me get a sense of what I really want to do. One day I hope to have a career which involves many different mediums.
